16-Year-Old Boy Killed in a Single-Vehicle Collision in Queens

Queens, NY – A 16-year-old boy was killed after crashing his vehicle into a tree just before 3:00 p.m. on January 7 in Glen Oaks. The Queens teen lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a tree near the intersection of 80th Avenue and 265th Street. First responders arrived at the scene to discover the victim unconscious and unresponsive from being thrown off from the vehicle due to the impact. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
