Fatal Crash Claims the Lives of Two, While En Route a Family Wedding

New Hempstead Road, NY – While on their way to attend a wedding in New York City, two families in a van got into a catastrophic accident on Route 45 and New Hempstead Road near Freidwald Center just before 4:30 p.m. last Monday. Hatzolah Paramedics responded to the crash report and determined numerous occupants heavily entrapped in the vehicle and need to be extricated immediately. At least 10 victims were rushed to Westchester and Nyack hospitals, in critical condition. The fatal crash claimed the life of a father and his son-in-law, who both succumbed to massive physical injuries.
