Teenage Cyclist Dead in Horrific Crash with Manhattan MTA Bus

Manhattan, NY – A 19-year-old female cyclist was pedaling around Midtown Manhattan when a BXM10 MTA bus approaching from behind, collided with the bicyclist near the intersection of Fifth Avenue and East 59th Street at approximately 9 a.m. of June 16. The teen-aged victim (whose identity was not disclosed) met her tragic death from massive head trauma beneath the wheels of the commuter bus. The MTA bus operator remained at the scene for further investigation.
