A car crash occurred at the intersection of Wantagh Avenue and Hicksville Road, NY on Wednesday afternoon. Nassau police said that the car slammed into a pole in the intersection of Bethpage which knocked down wires and caused damage to power lines. The road remains closed while crews fix downed wires. The driver was brought to the hospital for treatment of injuries caused by the accident.
