Scrap Metal Truck Overturns in Charlotte Avenue, NY

A scrap metal truck overturned at the intersection of Charlotte Avenue and West Old Country Road, New York early morning of April 27 spilling diesel and hydraulic fuel into the pavement. The Nassau County police officer and Hicksville volunteer firefighters evaluated the scene, while the Hicksville hazardous material personnel cleaned up the fuel leakage to prevent toxic chemicals from scattering onto the area.

Although New York City imposes strict rules on truck requirements, truck accidents continue to take place. When you get injured in a truck accident, insurance companies review your claim to determine your coverage and compute how much they are willing to pay. In some cases, they minimize the extent of your injuries to avoid paying the compensation you deserve. Claiming settlement is difficult without proper legal representation. The ASK4SAM Law Firm can assist you in seeking justice. Call their Garden City Office at (516) 832-7777 or click here for free legal consultation.
