Rider Flies Off from his Motorbike as NYPD Cops Put Up Barricade on a Bronx Exit Ramp

Bronx, NY – A 27-year-old rider flies off from his motorbike as it bumps into a fellow biker when cops put up a barricade in his path at the last second on Bronx River Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard at about 5:15 p.m. of May 24.

NYPD authorities moved the barrier across the roadway to narrow the flow of traffic due to reports of motorcycles carelessly speeding through Soundview. The intense encounter happened as one of the motorcyclists continued zooming at a high rate of speed, attempting to breach the opening in the barrier. The rider was brought to an area hospital and is now facing charges of reckless and aggravated unlicensed operator.
