Two Seriously Injured After Multiple Vehicle Crash in South Beach, Staten Island

Staten Island, NY – A 1990 purple Ford Mustang operator, 39, together with a passenger, 29, was driving over the speed limit heading northbound on Sand Lane, Staten Island, New York mid-afternoon. According to the driver, his accelerator got stuck causing him to lose control over his car, and eventually sideswiping a southbound navy blue 2020 Jeep, then crashing into two parked cars – gray 2016 Volkswagen sedan and red 2004 Chevy sedan, and finally knocking down a utility pole at the intersection of Sand Lane and Humbert Street. The injured vehicle occupants were transported to Staten Island University Hospital for severe physical and internal injuries.
