Teen Driver of Ford Mustang Dies After Plowing Into Trees in NYC

New York City – A 16-year-old teenager died after losing control of his speeding Ford Mustang in Glen Oaks at around 2:50 p.m. on January 7. Witnesses say, the out-of-control sports car blew through two stop signs along 80th Avenue near 265th Street before plowing into several trees and ripping in half due to the impact. First responders discovered the Queens teen sprawling in the street with a massive head injury. He was rushed to Long Island Jewish Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
