Two-Vehicle Crash in Manhattan Hurts Police Officer

Manhattan, NY – The FDNY authorities responded to a call regarding a motor vehicle collision at East 17 Street and Park Avenue South around 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 11. One of the three people injured from the crash was a police officer. Photos taken by citizens at the scene show an alleged head-on crash from the police automobile and a civilian vehicle. All victims were transported to an area hospital.
