32-year-old moped rider in critical condition after Queens crash
Queens, NYC – A 32-year-old man riding a gas-powered moped collided with a car on Astoria Blvd. in East Elmhurst.
The driver wasn’t wearing a helmet when he collided with a car driven by a 70-year-old man.
The victim was thrown from the moped and remains in critical condition due to a massive head injury.
The man behind the wheel stayed at the scene and wasn’t hurt according to authorities.
