40-year-old woman killed, another injured in Suffolk County
Suffolk County, NYC – An incident happened at the intersection of Pelham Parkway and Williamsbridge Road, when a 72-year-old woman was struck by a 44-year-old male motorcyclist while crossing Pelham. The impact of the collision caused the motorcyclist to lose control and collide with a 17-year-old girl who was standing on the nearby sidewalk. All three individuals were transported to Jacobi Hospital for medical attention. Unfortunately, the 72-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. The teenage girl and the motorcyclist both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
