63-Year-Old Mount Sinai Man Dies in Port Jefferson Head-On Collision
Port Jefferson, NY – A 63-year-old Mount Sinai man died from a head-on collision that occurred in Port Jefferson at around 2:45 p.m. on September 15. The fatal crash happened when the driver, who was traveling westbound on North Country Road, tried making a left into a parking lot and slammed into another car headed eastbound. The patient was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. The passenger in his car and the other driver both sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
