7-Car Collision in Babylon, NY Critically Injures Teen Driver
Babylon, NY – A Jamaican teenager driving a 1997 Lexus was critically injured in a horrific car crash that involved seven vehicles on the Robert Moses Causeway at around 7:40 p.m. on August 5. The violent accident happened when a 30-year-old Brentwood man, driving a 2013 Mercedes, failed to stop as traffic was stopped. As a result, the automobile slammed into one car from behind and caused six other cars to be struck in a chain reaction. The 19-year-old patient was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip. The New York State Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
