North Amityville, NY – A bicyclist suffered serious injuries after a collision with a car driven by a 19-year old North Amityville woman heading southbound on New Highway, at the intersection of Walnut Road.

Victims of bicycle accidents involving a motor vehicle may suffer devastating injuries. Cyclists have a greater risk of enduring severe physical injury as compared to motor vehicle users, due to the lower risk of protection a bicycle offers.
