Cyclist Dies from Crash Inside Prospect Park in Brooklyn
Brooklyn, NY – According to police authorities, a bicyclist died in a crash near the hill at Wellhouse Drive and West Drive inside Prospect Park in Brooklyn when he lost control of his bike on a steep downhill at approximately 7:45 p.m. on September 7. The patient sustained severe head trauma and was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Data show that the victim mentioned above is at least the 17th cyclist killed from a crash so far this year and the fifth in just the first two weeks of September in the streets of New York City.
