Driver of Stolen Lexus Caused Death of New York Mother
A 32-year-old mother of two was killed after a man driving a stolen Lexus plowed into a 2018 BMW and a 2019 Ford SUV she was riding in along Arden Avenue in Staten Island around 8:15 p.m. on April 25. According to Detective Denise Moroney, spokesperson for The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, the incident was a hit-and-run case as the heartless crook fled the scene on foot, and has not yet been apprehended. The impact of the crash sent the victim flying from the vehicle. Medics confirmed the victim as dead on-the-spot.
