Brooklyn, NYC – A 31-year-old woman was killed when a car passed through a red light and hit her on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.

According to authorities, the woman was crossing the street when the 27-year-old black Volvo driver swept into the road at a red light.

The woman’s body was found in a block between Clinton and Henry streets, wherein she was pronounced dead on the scene.
