Four Killed, One in Critical Condition in Long Island Crash
Long Island, NY – Four people were killed and one person critically injured from a horrific crash involving a wrong-way driver on Long Island’s Southern State Parkway at around 5:10 in the morning of September 15. The tragic incident occurred when a 33-year-old man driving a Toyota Camry collided head-on with a Nissan Rogue driven by a 67-year old Hempstead man, along with his daughters, 34 and 44, and another female passenger, 56. The Nissan was headed eastbound near Exit 29 in the Town of Oyster Bay when the tragedy took place. The fatal accident claimed the life of both drivers, including two female passengers, 34 and 56. The 44-year-old patient was rushed to Nassau University Medical Center for sustaining critical injuries.
