Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash on Northern State Parkway
Hauppauge, NY – A Queens man driving a 2020 GMC slammed into the rear driver’s side of a 2017 Chevrolet driven by a 61-year-old Smithtown man and struck a tree on Northern State Parkway in Hauppauge, New York around 8:40 p.m. of June 20. The 49-year-old GMC driver was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, but was pronounced dead. The Chevrolet operator, on the other hand, was uninjured.
