Man Fatally Crushed by Two Delivery Trucks in Queens

Queens, NY – A 49-year-old man was fatally pinned between his own truck and another while making milk drop-off to Bais Yaakov Academy for Girls at 124-50 Metropolitan Avenue in Queens at approximately 5:00 a.m. last Monday, May 18.

NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad determined that the victim was standing between the two delivery trucks, attempting to transfer items from one truck to another, when the driver of one of the trucks backed up to the rear of the other truck, crushing the victim.

The victim sustained severe body trauma and was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center by the emergency medical team on scene. Despite the attempts of life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead.
