Man Injured After Sports Car Slammed Into Tree During Test Drive in Garden City, NY

Garden City, NY – An ‘expensive’ car collision involving a red Toyota Supra, which was taken for a test drive, occurred along Cathedral Avenue in Garden City, New York around noon on June 9. Allegedly, the driver lost control of the 335-horsepower sports car and crashed into a tree. Due to the impact, some suspension components of the vehicle were detached more than 100 feet away from the accident scene. Upon arrival, the Garden City Fire Department determined the passenger trapped inside the automobile and needed to be extricated. The victim was then taken to an area hospital for serious physical injuries.

The test drive is one of the exciting steps when one decides to buy a new car. Never would it cross one’s mind that he would get into an accident as soon as he finally gets to sit behind the wheel of his next potential ride for a test drive.
