MTA Vehicle Crashes Into Pepsi Truck Parked Near Times Square, Manhattan, NY
Times Square, Manhattan, NY – An MTA utility truck slammed into a parked Pepsi truck on 42nd Street between Sixth Avenue and Broadway near Times Square, Manhattan, New York around 5:40 a.m. of May 12.
Investigators say the 24-year-old Queens man named Stephen Singh was driving while intoxicated and was still on the job when it crashed into the idle Pepsi truck. According to a statement from the MTA, “the driver has been suspended from duty effective immediately pending an investigation”. Paramedics transported Singh and another person to a local hospital for treatment of physical injuries.
