Road Rage Incident Turns Fatal on East Side Manhattan

Manhattan, NYC – An incident unfolded on the East 60th Street, resulting in a homicide, after a car crash escalated into a fight between two men.

At approximately 2 p.m. on Wednesday, authorities received multiple 911 calls regarding a collision that occurred at 119 East 60th St.

Upon the arrival of the authorities, a 54-year-old man was lying on the sidewalk, having suffered severe bodily trauma. He was transported to a hospital but later pronounced dead.

The New York Police Department reported that the 54-year-old man crashed his 2020 Chevy Silverado into a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 26-year-old.

Following the collision, the 54-year-old man exited his vehicle brandishing a knife and proceeded to slash the other driver’s tires.

In response, he accelerated his engine, striking the 54-year-old man and pinning him against the building’s facade.
