Two-Vehicle Crash Kills Huntington Woman and Injures Three
Huntington, NY – A tragic crash that occurred at the intersection of County Road 48 and Westphalia Road at about 4:15 p.m. of July 6 claimed the life of a 23-year-old Huntington woman and injured three others. Allegedly, a 40-year-old Orient man driving a gray 2014 Ford SUV failed to stop for a red light and rear-ended a gray 2017 Honda Civic driven by a 24-year-old Huntington man. The female passenger of the Honda Civic was rushed to Peconic Bay Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries. One patient was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment. Investigation is ongoing.
