New York City – Two passengers died on-the-spot when an alleged 33-year-old drunk driver smashed the car they were in into the sidewall on the FDR Drive near East 72nd Street on the Upper East Side at approximately 4:30 a.m. Friday. The operator was rushed to Weill Cornell Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
