2-Year-Old Boy in Stroller Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in the Bronx
Bronx, NY – A 2-year-old boy in a stroller being pushed by his 62-year-old grandmother was struck by a 62-year-old driver of a red GMC Terrain Denali while crossing Eastchester Road. The Mahopac man fled the crash scene after striking the woman and her grandson about halfway through the crosswalk. The 2-year-old boy sustained a head contusion while his grandmother suffered neck pain. Police later arrested and charged the GMC driver for leaving the scene of the accident.
