24-Year-Old Man Killed by Driver of a Stolen Vehicle as it Crashed in East Elmhurst
Queens, NY – A 24-year-old man was killed after a suspected Kew Gardens Hills man crashed a stolen vehicle he is in. Police authorities are searching for a 26-year-old man who stole a car and wrecked it, killing his passenger in East Elmhurst, Queens. Allegedly, the suspect was speeding with the stolen vehicle at around 9:15 p.m. on December 8 when he slammed into two trees at the intersection of 97th Street and Ditmars Boulevard. He fled the scene, leaving the passenger unconscious and unresponsive at the scene. The patient was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he could not be saved.
