New York – A 37-year-old White Plains man driving at an alleged high rate of speed was pronounced dead at the scene when his vehicle veered into the center lane, striking another car with a 51-year-old Stamford woman behind the wheel. The fiery crash unfolded along Interstate 287 in Harrison at around 10:00 p.m. on February 24. The female driver was uninjured.
