New York City – A 54-year-old New York City woman was killed in a train accident in the evening of September 11. The tragic incident took place as the victim was walking northbound on the tracks in Greenport when she was fatally struck by a southbound Amtrak train. Police authorities and EMS personnel discovered the patient unconscious and unresponsive, and was declared dead at the scene.
