61-Year-Old Woman Crushed to Death by Backhoe in Brooklyn
Brooklyn, NY – A 61-year-old woman was crushed to death by a backhoe, which ran over and dragged her along the corner of New Lots and Van Sinderen Avenues in Brooklyn at around 2:20 p.m on March 5. Disturbing video shows the yellow construction vehicle striking the victim with its shovel before crushing her to death. First responders discovered the unconscious and unresponsive victim and took her to Brookdale Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
