74-Year-Old Woman Dies, Firefighter Injured in Brooklyn Blaze
Brooklyn, NYC – A 74-year-old woman died and a firefighter was injured in a fire that engulfed a building on Tompkins Avenue near Madison Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant at around 11:00 p.m. Saturday. Emergency personnel discovered the lifeless victim on the third floor. More than 100 firefighters responded to the blaze.
