8-Year-Old Breaks Both Legs From Jumping Off Burning Bronx Apartment
Bronx, NYC – An eight-year-old girl broke both her legs when she jumped off a balcony to escape from a burning Bronx apartment at around 6:30 p.m. on April 28. According to the fire chief, her landing may have saved her life. At least nine people were injured from the fire engulfed on the sixth floor of the 17-story building at 540 East 169th Street.
