83-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Courier Truck in Queens
Queens, NYC – An 83-year-old female pedestrian was fatally struck by a 72-year-old courier truck driver, while trying to cross the intersection at the corner of Union Turnpike and 193rd Street in Fresh Meadows at approximately 9:49 a.m. Thursday. The victim, suffering severe body trauma, was rushed to an area hospital but could not be saved.
