Alleged Drunk Driver Slams Into NYPD Car on NYC Expressway
New York City – A 24-year-old alleged drunk driver was arrested after his 2020 Mercedes-Benz sedan slammed into an NYPD car with a Brooklyn precinct commander on board at around 2:00 a.m. Saturday on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. The police vehicle, its emergency lights flashing, flew into the air and into a 2011 Toyota van. The NYPD officer was rushed to the hospital with a leg injury.
