Allegedly Drunk Driver Strikes and Kills Female Pedestrian in Brooklyn
Brooklyn, NY – A 32-year-old woman was killed when an allegedly 47-year-old drunken driver struck her while crossing Graham Avenue in Bushwick at around 12:30 p.m. on February 26. The female pedestrian was found unresponsive with severe body trauma by the time police arrived at the scene. She was taken to Woodhull Hospital where she could not be saved. The driver of the gray 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee was arrested and charged with DWI and manslaughter.
