Cyclist Dies After Colliding with MTA Bus in Brooklyn
Brooklyn, NY – A 33-year-old bicyclist died after he collided with an Metropolitan Transport Authority (MTA) bus near Graham and Metropolitan Avenues in Williamsburg at approximately 7:30 p.m. on December 23. Police authorities say that the victim was riding an e-bike on his way to work when he crashed into the side of the MTA bus. Paramedics rushed him to Bellevue Hospital, where he could not be saved. The 50-year-old bus driver remained at the scene of the crash.
