Drunk Driver Pins 8-Month-Old Baby Under Car, Mom Seriously Hurt
New York City – An 8-month-old baby was pinned under a car and its mother was seriously injured when a 43-year-old drunk driver of a 2005 Hyundai Elantra rammed into a parked car at a barbershop on Lake Avenue at around 8:30 a.m. Monday. The Yonkers mom with her baby was walking across the street when the harrowing crash unfolded. The victims were rushed to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment of the baby’s skull fracture with severe burns and the mother’s fractured femur.
