Four Seriously Injured, Two Hurt in 27-Vehicle Crash in Upper Manhattan
Manhattan, NY – Four people were seriously injured and two sustained minor injuries in a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on the parkway near West 181 Street in Upper Manhattan at around 6:10 p.m. on December 16. Due to the winter storm Gail, all southbound lanes of the Henry Hudson Parkway were shut down, causing a chain-reaction collision of 27 vehicles. All six patients were taken to an area hospital.
