Man Dies After Crashing Into Stationary Garbage Truck in Brooklyn
Brooklyn, NY – A 32-year-old man died after his 2002 Nissan Altima crashed into the back of a stationary garbage truck on Flatlands Avenue and East 88th Street in Canarsie just before 4:00 a.m. on December 20. First responders discovered the patient unconscious and unresponsive in the mangled car and rushed him to Brookdale University Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
