Man Dies After Falling From Manhattan Fire Escape
Manhattan, NY – At around 2:15 a.m. on July 31, the NYPD was responding to a 911 call near Amsterdam Avenue on the Upper West Side, when cops discovered a 30-year-old man lying on the pavement, unconscious and unresponsive, in the rear of a building on West 81st Street. Allegedly, the victim (whose identity remains disclosed) fell from a fire escape while smoking a cigarette, and died at the scene. Police authorities are conducting an investigation on the cause of death.
