Man Killed in a Bronx Hit-and-Run Crash
Bronx, NY – A man was killed in a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Baychester Avenue, near East 233rd Street in the Edenwald section of The Bronx at around 1:45 a.m. on January 16. Apparently, the man had flagged down an ambulance in the area after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The victim, who sustained severe leg injuries, was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Police are searching for the missing driver.
