NYPD Cop Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash on Long Island Expressway
Long Island, NYC – A 30-year-old New York Police Department (NYPD) off-duty officer died when his 2018 Nissan Frontier hit a median and flipped over on the Long Island Expressway at around 10:55 p.m. on May 10. First responders extricated him from the vehicle and rushed him to South Shore University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
