Manhattan, NY – A New York City Police Department (NYPD) officer sustained injuries after a driver took off and clipped the cop with the side of the vehicle in Midtown Manhattan on November 16. The hit-and-run incident unfolded on 45th Street and Eighth Avenue when police authorities attempted to take the suspect into custody for violating parole and burglary; but the 50-year-old blue Mazda operator drove off, dumped his vehicle five blocks away, and fled into the transit system.
