Brooklyn, NY – A 34-year-old Manhattan woman attempting to cross between Jefferson and Troutman Streets on Bushwick Avenue was fatally struck by a 49-year-old driver of a cement truck at around 7:12 a.m. on November 9. First responders discovered the victim lying on the roadway with severe body trauma. EMS personnel pronounced the patient dead at the scene. The truck driver remained at the scene, while investigation is underway.
