Pedestrian Fatally Struck by FedEx Driver in Queens
Queens, NYC – An 83-year-old female pedestrian was fatally struck by a 72-year-old 2019 Freightliner FedEx truck driver at the intersection of 193rd Street and Union Turnpike at around 9:50 a.m. Thursday. First responders discovered the victim’s body unconscious and unresponsive. She was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens, where she was pronounced dead.
