Pedestrian Pulling a Shopping Cart, Fatally Struck by SUV in Queens
Queens, NYC – A 39-year-old woman pulling a shopping cart was fatally struck by a gray Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 33-year-old man at around 1:20 p.m. on May 28. The victim was mowed down by the SUV while trying to cross 43rd Avenue and 91st Place. Paramedics transported the victim to Elmhurst Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
