Teenage Girl, 16, Dies from Cliff Fall in New York’s Zoar Valley
Western New York – A 16-year-old girl dies after falling from a gorge in New York’s Zoar Valley at approximately 5:40 p.m. on August 22. The first responders found the teenager’s body unconscious and unresponsive suffering body trauma. The patient eventually succumbed to her multiple physical injuries. An investigation on the cause of the death is underway.
The 3,014-acre Zoar Valley Multiple Use Area is one of the most scenic and ecologically diverse environmental areas in Western New York.
