Unlicensed Driver Slams Into Brooklyn Restaurant
Brooklyn, NY – An unlicensed driver plowed into an outdoor dining area in Brooklyn around dusk on Tuesday injuring three people. Surveillance video captures the shocking scene when an out-of-control pickup truck crashed into L’Wren’s curbside dining area, slamming into several tables where customers were eating. Police authorities charged the driver, about 20 years old, with operating a vehicle without a license.
Roughly 9,000 restaurants across NYC have been approved to open into some part of the street despite the coronavirus pandemic. Even if establishments are required to put up 6-inch planters or barricades to provide a buffer between diners and traffic, accidents could not be completely avoided. If you or someone you know have been involved in any type of accident, seek legal advice from an expert personal injury lawyer.
