Woman, Pushing Niece in Stroller, Fatally Struck by Truck in Brooklyn
Brooklyn, NYC – A 62-year-old woman was fatally plowed by a flatbed truck after pushing her 1-year-old niece in a stroller. The victim was crossing Myrtle and Bedford Avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant at around 11:30 a.m. Thursday when the truck struck her. She was taken to Brooklyn Hospital Center, but could not be saved. The child was not hit, but suffered minor injuries when the stroller was knocked over.
