Car Crash in Upper East Side Outdoor Dining Area Leaves Three Injured

Manhattan, NY – Three people were injured after a car plowed into an outdoor dining area on the Upper East Side, Manhattan last August 24. The crash occurred just after 9:30 p.m. outside the Delizia restaurant located on the southeast corner of 92nd Street and Second Avenue. Police report says the incident was caused by a Cadillac Escalade and Audi sedan collision where one of the cars slammed into the wooden barrier of the outdoor dining setup.

This is not the first time an outdoor dining setup in New York City has become involved in a traffic accident. While business establishments have been suffering due to the closure of indoor dining, safety concerns like this are more reasons restaurants cannot rely on outdoor dining alone to survive. If you have been involved in an accident like this, talk to an attorney who can discuss the steps you need to take after the crash. The seasoned lawyers at Silberstein, Awad & Miklos or SAM offer free consultation and excellent client care. Contact them at 1-877-ASK4SAM or schedule an appointment here.

This post is intended to provide helpful information to improve the safety of those who live and work in the NYC area. We hope that it will help our readers avoid injury accidents and know what to do if they’ve been involved in one themselves. At Ask4SAM, sole goal is to help those who have been injured in an accident in one of the boroughs of New York City.
